A new program aimed at giving young musicians the chance to learn the violin will host its first lessons in October. The Benzie Youth String Program is open to students in third through fifth grades.

The American Music Institute, with locations in Clarendon Hills, Downers Grove, St Charles, and Geneva, IL, will present special violin fiddling lessons this March in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.
